Technical Programme

The 3rd US-Africa Conference for Nanotechnology Convergence focuses on the modern advancements and key enabling technologies in the context of Sustainable Energy, Environment, Climate Change and Health. We invite researchers, academics, students, and industry professionals from both USA and Africa to submit their papers in one of the following four tracks.

 

Track No. 1: Energy

including but not limited to:

  1. Nanotechology for energy storage.
  2. Hydrogen production and storage.
  3. Thermal energy and storage.
  4. Energy harvesting.
  5. Green energy and biofuel.
  6. Synthesizing of nanomaterials for energy applications.
  7. Solar energy.
  8. Supercapacitors, Batteries and Fuel cells.
  9. Piezoelectric nanogenerators.
  10. Recycling of energy nanomaterials.
  11. Self-powered nanodevices/nanosystems. 

Track No. 2: Environment

including but not limited to:

  1. Nanotechnology for oil and Gas.
  2. Environmental risk assessment, modeling and management.
  3. Green chemistry and biodegradable materials.
  4. Environmental Nanosensors.
  5. Water and waste water treatment.
  6. Biogeochemistry of manufactured and natural nanomaterials.
  7. Nanomaterial transport, transformation and fate in the environment.
  8. Ecosystem functional responses to nanomaterials.
  9. Air pollution and remediation.
  10. Nanotechnology in agriculture.

Track No. 3: Health

including but not limited to:

  1. Nanotoxicity.
  2. Nanotechnology for cancer detection and therapy.
  3. Nanomagnetics processing and applications.
  4. Nano-biosensors, diagnostics and imaging.
  5. Nano-biomedicine, drug delivery and therapeutics.

Track No. 4: Climate Change

including but not limited to:

  1. Nanomaterials applications in combatting climate change.
  2. Nanomaterials environmental concern and toxicological aspects.
  3. Nanotechnology ethics.
  4. Green nanotechnology approaches.
